Director of Civil Engineering Job Description

Evolve Construction LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Civil Engineering to join our Naples, Florida branch. This position offers remote work opportunities and requires a diligent and innovative professional to lead our civil engineering team to success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership to the civil engineering team in the planning, design, and construction of various projects.
• Oversee the development and implementation of engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards for civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in civil engineering practices.
• Review and approve engineering designs and technical documents prepared by the team.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality control.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to achieve project milestones.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and excellence in civil engineering projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong technical proficiency in civil engineering design software and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
